How to Add Social Login in WordPress Website

That saves visitors a lot of trouble and makes the registration process much quicker.

Also, the Social Login plugin allows you to add the social login function to anywhere as you want, like comment area, login page, registration or sidebar.

Having had a rough idea about Social Login plugin, it’s time to install this rich-featured plugin on your website. Log into WP admin and install this plugin. A new item “Social Login” is shown on the sidebar since you have this plugin activated.

Click “Social Login” option and access to OneAll Social Login setting page. There are two tabs available for social login customization, including Setup and Settings. Start with the Setup tab.

Step 1: Sign Up an Account at OneAll

In order to get API credentials, you are required to create a free account at http://www.oneall.com. Sign up with a social network or do it with your email address. Select a method as you want. Enter personal information as required and then create account. Remember your account and password.

Step 2: API Connection Handler

Move to API Connection Handler section and this is where to select a way to communicate with the API. Leave the default options and then click “Autodetect API Connection”. Note that, if there is something wrong with the default options, you are encouraged to select the alternative settings.

Step 3: Enter Your API Credentials

View your API credentials by clicking the given link “Click here to create and view your API Credentials”. First of all, you are asked to create a site on OneAll. Choose a subdomain for your site and give the site a proper name. And then, enter the domain name for your own website and this is where to enable the social login service. Click “Create this Site” to confirm all settings.

Click your site and access to the dashboard. All API credentials are included in the API Access section. The details should be shown as below.

Copy and paste the subdomain, public key and private key to the API Settings mode as required. Click to verify all API settings.

Step 4: Enable Social Networks of Your Choice

This is where to determine which social networks are available for the social login. Check any services as needed. Finally, click “Save Changes” to confirm all settings.

Customize Social Login Settings

Social Login plugin enables a list of settings for social login customization. Go to Social Login > Settings and change the default settings if needed. Below is the General Settings mode. This is where to enter the text that will be shown on the social login buttons and then select a proper size for the social login button.

Also, you are allowed to determine whether to connect the social network to administration area and whether to enable email notification. Besides that, there are more settings available for user permissions, comment, profile, login page, registration page, widget and shortcode. Confirm all settings by clicking “Save Changes” button.
