How to Embed PDF File into WordPress Website
Embedding a PDF file into posts or pages makes it possible to view the file in the post itself, without the need to open another window to display the file. In this way, readers may feel comfortable and convenient when going through your articles. At the first sight, you may believe the process is difficult and complex, but the truth is totally on the contrary. There are only several steps to follow.
The first thing you need to do is installing a plugin named as Embed PDF. Log in to your WordPress dashboard. Click on Plugin on the left side, then choose add new. In the next, you can see the Install Plugin page; enter Embed PDF in the search bar. You can see the plugin appearing and choose one to install it, and the WordPress will download a PDF file to your computer.
Next, go back to your WordPress dashboard and find out the article you open before. Edit that post or page and you can see an Add New button on the top. Click on the button, there are four choices appear: Post, Media, Link, and Page. You choose to add a media.
Then, a page popup and all computer local files are presented, choose the PDF file you want, and click on open. Then, back to WordPress and click on Upload. Till now, your file is saved in the media library. Edit the file and you will get a link on the right side. Copy it and then, go back to the post that you want to add the file.
